On Saturday, our franchise development team hosted a webinar for private practice owners who are interested in looking at the future of physical therapy and how they could improve their own practices while working against a growing list of industry challenges. While we typically host this event in person with a large crowd, the recent global pandemic COVID-19 had us rethinking our process in early March. Our team at FYZICAL wanted to take this challenge and turn it into an opportunity to offer this key industry knowledge on a broader, more accessible scale for a larger number of physical therapy private practice owners. The no-brainer solution was to turn this into a virtual event.
The turnout was remarkable, over 100 registrations for ENVIZION! Our largest online event ever recorded! The content was invaluable for private practice owners – lending itself to best practices within the physical therapy industry. It expanded on how to combat the challenge of declining reimbursements, and how to position your individual practice for growth and development in the future. The presentation opened with a close look at macro trends for the business of physical therapy. Industry changes that are sweeping the market and making it difficult for independent practice owners to keep their doors open while remaining profitable. Next, ENVIZION attendees examined the ideal business model of the future in physical therapy. Unsurprisingly, FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers franchise development team was able to provide valuable industry knowledge to our attendees by leveraging their combined decades of experience in the business of physical therapy in combination with some of our most coveted business educational materials that we usually make available only to our members.
Our team shared some of that key knowledge in order to help attendees successfully position themselves for the future in this industry. By making incremental changes to some of their existing standard practices, attendees are now able to shift many of their metrics to a positive trajectory. Attendees finished their Q&A session on Saturday armed with knowledge on how to reduce cancellations, increase referrals, and optimize their own businesses for ideal growth.
