FRANCHISE BUSINESS REVIEW - JUNE 27, 2023
FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers, the country's fastest-growing physical therapy franchise with 500 open centers across 44 states, was recently recognized as a finalist in the 4th annual Franchising@WORK 2023 Employee Engagement Report & Awards hosted by Franchise Business Review. The study is an independent industry-wide survey of employee satisfaction among franchise employees and celebrates franchise organizations with the highest employee engagement.
FYZICAL was recognized as a finalist in this year's awards. FBR collected data from 180 franchise organizations, including 6,000 employees, representing 40% corporate and 60% unit-level employees. Participants were asked about company culture, job satisfaction, and engagement within the franchise sector.
FYZICAL was recognized for high employee well-being, impact on retention, and positive diversity, equity, and inclusion.
"When I think of FYZICAL, I think of people being connected," said Brian Belmont, Chief Executive Officer at FYZICAL. "Our clinicians being connected to their patients, our corporate staff being connected to the owners and their staff, and the overall leadership, connected to the brand."
FBR conducted the Franchising@WORK Employee Engagement Benchmarking Study to help franchise companies understand how employee satisfaction, well-being, and culture compare to others. The research revealed key insights into job satisfaction, employee well-being, and workforce trends.
Why Franchise with FYZICAL?
Key findings indicated that overall employee engagement in the franchise sector remains high. Most find their work rewarding and satisfying, 86% find their work rewarding and satisfying, and four out of five employees would recommend a job at their company to a friend.
Additionally, 84% of respondents rated their direct managers as positive on caring about their employees' success, indicating that they are professional, maintain positive communication and value employee feedback.
Other findings indicated that 86% of employees rated their overall satisfaction as 86%.
“Franchising is a vast segment of the economy that touches every industry, which makes this research incredibly valuable to understand how employee engagement impacts overall growth and profitability at the individual brand level, within specific industries, and within the franchise sector,” said Michelle Rowan, president & COO of Franchise Business Review.
