From free community screenings to in-clinic events and educational outreach, FYZICAL franchisees turned awareness into action, transforming clinics into hubs of prevention, empowerment, and hope.
This year marked a defining moment for FYZICAL’s new systemwide Fight the Fall marketing campaign, a turnkey initiative designed to help every clinic elevate local engagement and strengthen its role as a community health leader.
The result was the most far-reaching Fight the Fall effort to date, uniting more clinics, engaging more communities, and reinforcing FYZICAL’s position as the nation’s leader in balance care.
This year, in collaboration with the Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA), the nationwide initiative, held during National Falls Prevention Awareness Month, shined a spotlight on FYZICAL’s proprietary Balance Program through a comprehensive, systemwide Fight the Fall marketing initiative: an all-inclusive playbook featuring localizable assets that allowed clinics to activate the movement locally through outreach, balance screenings, and educational initiatives.
Across the country, FYZICAL clinics opened their doors to their communities with free balance screenings, interactive events, and hands-on education, all designed to raise awareness and inspire action.
Each activity invited participants to see firsthand how FYZICAL’s approach to balance and mobility goes beyond therapy—it’s about education, connection, and community empowerment.
Together, these moments captured FYZICAL’s mission in action: empowering people to move better, live stronger, and fight the fall.

“By creating a turnkey campaign that every clinic could activate locally, we gave franchisees the tools to bring balance awareness to their communities,” she said.
“Seeing nearly half of our system take part proves how deeply this message resonates, and demonstrates the power of a shared mission to advance balance care and safeguard independence in the communities we serve.”
Designed from the ground up by Savage and FYZICAL's Marketing team, the campaign equipped franchise owners with everything they needed to bring the mission to life: a comprehensive marketing bundle featuring detailed campaign execution guides, Physician Liaison and Clinical Care Specialist playbooks, and a robust library of downloadable assets.
Franchisees also received step-by-step event guides, activation checklists, and interactive tools—including physician resources for the Single Leg Stand (“Flamingo”) Test and patient-focused activities like the “Why I Stand” Wall, where participants shared personal reasons for prioritizing balance—transforming awareness into interactive, community-centered engagement.
And the results spoke for themselves.
The campaign officially launched with a high-energy webinar viewed by 179 franchise partners, setting the tone for what became a month-long movement. T-shirts sold out within two weeks, décor and supplies flew off shelves, and clinics nationwide transformed their spaces into vibrant hubs of prevention, education, and hope.
In total, nearly half the entire franchise system came together to take a unified stand for balance care, a clear reflection of the brand's mission, strategic collaboration, and collective impact.

Across the country, clinics partnered with local gyms, banks, senior centers, YMCAs, wellness studios, and more to host Fight the Fall events that elevated awareness and strengthened community trust. Others presented at local Rotary Clubs and senior organizations, sparking conversations about balance, strength, and healthy aging.
At FYZICAL’s company-owned clinics, Balance Awareness Week culminated in dynamic workshops featuring vendor exhibitions, live demonstrations, interactive activities, and fall-risk assessments that drew exceptional community engagement.
Franchisees across the country echoed that same energy and enthusiasm, transforming Fight the Fall into meaningful, community-driven outreach.

In many markets, the excitement rippled through local communities, spreading awareness, inspiring media coverage, and bringing the conversation about fall prevention to the forefront.

The “Why I Stand” Walls were filled with messages like “I stand so I can dance,” “I stand to garden again,” and “I stand because I can now.”
Patients celebrated progress with “My Victory Pose” photos, filling clinics (and social feeds) with an explosion of pink and pride.
"One of the items we found online—and heaven knows, we were surprised by just how much cool flamingo stuff there is available for purchase in the world—was a child’s swim ring in the shape of a flamingo," said the Beanes.
"One of our fondest moments was when a patient whom we’ve always seen as solemn and serious—bordering on grumpy at times—decided he wanted to wear the flamingo hat in his celebration photo, they said.
"We were both surprised and delighted, and it reinforced just how well the theme and the campaign resonated with patients.'
The campaign sparked a nationwide wave of inspiration and unity across the FYZICAL network, energizing FYZICAL clinics nationwide and bringing the power of balance care squarely into the spotlight.
Employees from every department participated in interactive activities that mirrored what clinics were doing nationwide, including Single Leg Stand assessments, balance and mobility demonstrations, and hands-on use of FYZICAL’s Safety Overhead Support (SOS) System.
The event blended education, engagement, and excitement, showcasing HQ’s commitment to the same message shared with communities across the country: fall prevention begins with awareness, and balance care saves lives..
This alignment between headquarters and the field reflected FYZICAL’s culture of collaboration and shared purpose.
Through these efforts, headquarters didn’t just promote the campaign; it celebrated it, reinforcing the shared mission that unites every FYZICAL location: to fight falls, preserve freedom of movement, and help people live stronger, safer, and more confident lives.
